Our amphibious pontoon undercarriages are specialized systems designed to enable vehicles, particularly excavators and other heavy machinery, to operate effectively in both terrestrial and aquatic environments. These systems typically feature buoyant pontoons combined with robust tracks, allowing for stability and mobility in challenging conditions such as swamps, marshes and waters.
The amphibious undercarriage consist two pontoons. Each pontoon is with 2 or 3 heavy duty strand chains drive. Hydraulic motor is mounted on front or rear of the pontoon to supply the power for the undercarriage. Track shoes or track cleats are aluminum alloy fabricated and are bolted to utmost precision. Aluminum is a lightweight material, which helps to reduce the overall weight of the undercarriage, contributing to better buoyancy and fuel efficiency. Aluminum track slippers offers good resistance to corrosion too, which prolong the life of tracks when operating in wet or marine environments.
